Terms of Use
Effective 2026-10-04 · applies to the Moonpager app at moonpager.com
Moonpager is run by Moonpager LLC. When these terms say “we” or “us,” that’s who they mean.
The short version
Moonpager is a small place for seeing who’s around and doing something together. Be a person other people would want in the room. What you make here is yours. We can remove things and close accounts when someone makes this place worse, and you can leave whenever you like and take nothing with you but the memory.
Who can be here
You need to be 13 or older. Areas marked After Dark are 18+ and are gated on the birthday you give us at signup. Don’t lie about your age to get into them.
One account per person, and it’s yours alone. Don’t share your sign-in, and don’t make an account to pretend to be somebody else.
Your handle
You can change your handle once every 30 days, in Settings. A handle you have had stays yours: nobody else can take it, and old links to it still find you. Some handles are reserved (product names, admin-ish words), and handles from deleted accounts are retired rather than recycled, so nobody inherits someone else’s history.
Your content stays yours
Everything you make here (your Space, your photos, your posts, your messages, your themes) belongs to you. We don’t claim ownership of it and we don’t sell it.
By posting it you give us permission to do the obvious, boring thing: store it and show it to the people you posted it for, on the surfaces of this app. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. It doesn’t extend to advertising, to training anything, or to showing your work anywhere but here.
Post your own work. Borrow an idea, never someone else’s art, writing, or name.
What isn’t allowed
- Slurs, hate, and harassment. After Dark is rated-R and rude on purpose; it is not a loophole. No slurs, no targeting people for who they are, no sexual content involving minors, no sexual violence, no shock-for-shock’s-sake.
- Pretending to be someone else: another member, a real person, or us.
- Content you don’t have the right to post, including other people’s private information.
- Breaking the place. No scraping, no bots or automated accounts, no hammering the servers, no probing for holes, no working around the age gates, blocks, or removals.
- Using it against someone. Threats, stalking, or organising a pile-on.
Blocking, removal, and reports
You can block anyone; blocking cuts contact in both directions. If someone hosts a Place, they can remove people from it: a removed person can’t post there or rejoin. You can report content or people, and a real human (one of the two founders, there is no moderation algorithm here) reads it and decides.
We can remove content, close a Place, or suspend or delete an account when someone breaks these terms. We’ll aim to say why. For anything serious or repeated, we may act without warning.
Leaving
You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings → Delete my account. It’s immediate and permanent: your Space, photos, messages, and friendships go at once, and it can’t be undone. Your handle is retired rather than freed.
This is a young product
Moonpager is built by two people and is still being built. Things will break, features will change, and some will be removed. It’s provided as-is: we don’t promise it will always be available, that nothing will ever be lost, or that it will keep working the way it does today. Keep your own copy of anything you’d be upset to lose.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from using the app.
Your data
How we handle it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. The short version: no ads, no selling, no tracking profiles.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its rules about choosing another place’s laws. If you live somewhere that gives you protections you can’t sign away, those still apply to you.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top; if they change in a way that matters, we’ll say so in the app rather than bury it.
